We have improved over the last year and there is a much more positive feeling and attitude around the club now. This time last year and Bruno handed in and the club accepted his resignation. Its been a long and painful 12 months but the future is starting to look brighter than where we were heading 12 months ago.Lets hope for more of the same with Aspos Black and White army. The future is bright with Aspo back in Black and White.

Definitely a better feeling and we are talking about the football not the boardroom for a change

Proud of the team at Colchester. Nice quote in today’s East Anglian newspaper - ‘In short Vale looked more like play-off contenders rather than relegation candidates’. Carl Marston who wrote the report of the game does not usually praise the opposition.John McGreal, the Colchester manager, also praised the Vale and said that in the end Colchester earned a good point against a good team.

There is a noticeable change in attitude, effort and commitment. Although today I thought everyone was on song apart from Montano, he lacks a bit of fight at times. I fear that when the North wind blows it may be bye bye Cristian, I hope I am wrong. Although Smith won the sponsors man of the match, I personally would have chosen Harness.

Fascinating that all of the current bunch that are doing so well and we want desperately to hold on to were signed by brown.

Harness, Whitfield, Kay you all berated them as the worst vale players ever..........,,,,,

So are they ......

I'm glad this had been raised as it has crossed my mind to, Brown may have failed as a manager, but he certainly had an eye for a good player, Worral would be my player of season so far...

Can’t agree. Browns policy was scattergun and see what stuck. The squad is huge with many who need to go. Brown deserves absolutely not credit for the miracles that aspin is performing. Browns first choice keeper is being kept out by the player who was about fifth choice keeper. His right back can’t get in the squad despite no fit right backs, his left back can’t. Middleton, stobbs, and other random pointless signings. Barnett and Pyke, his second and third choice strikers just aren’t good enough. No credit due to him at all.
