Ticket Office clued up and with extra bods on, a cash turnstile would DEFINITELY be a good idea even if just for one day. Club shop well stocked with staff looking interested in greeting people. Bars stocked with plenty of food and drink, and with decent staffing levels. A commemorative programme would be nice but I appreciate that was probably not doable in such a short timeframe.

 

Basically, tomorrow is a fantastic opportunity for the club as a whole to re-engage with fans.

I would like to wish Neil, John, the players and the staff the very best for tomorrow.

 

For once we have not gone for the 'cheap option', have supported Neil with the appointment of a DOF and the coaching staff of his choice.

 

The players shoud be 'up for it' because if a new manager (aka Vale Legend),a certain Mr Rudge and the crowd cant inspire them then no one will. The new manager and the DOF are no fools as we all know and will soon work out who wants to and is good enough to wear the Vale shirt.

 

Also I wish our chairman good luck as this time he has seemed to have listened and gained some good will back from the fans. I hope this continues and bridges are re-built for the future.

 

The club can not go back to the last two years and I for one will not be dwelling on that, this is a new era, a new start for all.
