I actually agree with that tbh he’s took a hell of a lot of abuse from 90% of us and to still pull this off to try and please us all and obviously to make himself liked again at the vale against at times maybe his better judgement and maybe his family’s I have to doff my to the man

As well as rudgie and aspo maybe we should swallow our pride and also say ‘welcome’ back Norman smurthwaite

For Norman this is an armistice. Not an end to the war but an end to fighting.

 

He's now got to rebuild trust with the fans. Admittedly this is a good start but he's got to do much, much more before he gets welcomed back into the Burslem boozers again.
