Think this appointment if true looked obvious once Adams was expected to be DOF (which seems a done deal if he treked to Yeovil for the game!)

 

Why would a DOF like Adams be needed or have any point with an experienced manager.

 

Id like Powell to have got it but although a bit of a gamble Askey has earnt the chance to manage a football league side and has done an extremely good job with Macclesfield so will have my backing and wont be slating him before hes even managed the club!

Powell would be my choice too. But a Macc Town supporting mate of mine says that he and most Macc Town supporters wouldn't be bothered if Askey left them as in his words "he is a very negative manager".

Same reasons we weren’t bothered when Page went but look where we ended up from that. Careful what you wish for situation. If he’s negative but keeps us up il take that at the moment.

Are there any positive managers about apart from those with the mega-millions at the top of the Premier League. Most admit that they set their teams up not to lose.

 

What's more if you know of any, are they available?
