The one manager guaranteed to get under the skin of nearly every Vale fan. Probably imho the worst out of all the possible choices. Norman would wreck any chances of survival with this one.

Better Graham Westley than Mixu Paatelainen. Or....Fabrizio Ravanelli???! A guy whose been pimping himself for practically every managers job going (Chesterfield being just the lastest). It's not like Smurthwaite doesn't have form in this area is it??!

Sadly you are correct. Vale fans agree about every 2 years when a manager goes and 90% then spend 2 years hoping the next one fails because he isn't their choice. With everything that goes on in and around the club it's difficult to understand why anyone would wish to take the job on. Good luck to whoever gets the job, hope they have a decent tin hat and flack jacket
