2 Cap in hand to League 2 clubs like Morecambe,Accrington Stanley,Mansfield and Newport County asking for there 30+ year olds for experienced players in the non league season ahead.

3 Anchored in the first tier of the non league pyramid with mid table stalwarts like Macclesfield,Wrexham,Aldershot,Bromley and Sutton United.

4 Another relegation battle with perennial strugglers Guiseley,Solihull Motors,Frickley Athletic and Barrow.

5 Local derbies with Hednesford,Telford,Chester,Wrexham and Macclesfield

6 Midweek trips to Dover,Dagenham,Aldershot,Ebbsfleet and Eastleigh

7 Our FA Cup campaign starting in the second week of September.Two games maybe three or four with replays to reach the FA Cup first round proper.

8 Massive Police presence in Burslem for our Boxing Day game v newly promoted Stalybridge Celtic.

9 Our very own Mr.Port Vale Tom Pope being part of the worst football team in the history of Port Vale Football Club.

10 Crewe Alexandra having preferential treatment over Vale for live radio coverage.

11 FA Trophy games V Sheffield FC,Buxton,Carshalton or Braintree or wait for it......Stafford Rangers.

12 Taking your seat looking at Hamilton Road and seeing 6(yes six) away fans making the trip from AFC Fylde.

With the current rabble in control and we don't know the depths that we can sink too. Please, please Mr Smurthwaite eat your embarrassing pride and admit that you know nothing about football and sell up to a buyer who can give us our pride back. On BBC they commented on how one of the oldest clubs in the football league are propping the other 91 clubs up!
