The Demise of Port Vale

He's just having a bit of fun. He probably only had the scarf of for a split second.

Any chance for a dig at him though I suppose.

Can you imagine Coates doing something similar ? Of course not, no self respecting Chairman would make a fool of himself, still he knows best.

We r 91st in the footballing chain .

Do we sit at home and be all downbeat ,disillusioned and beaten by it .

Do we stay away and the players end up not been paid .

Another adminstration and the club folds .

Or do we all get together and stand upand fight ,and i dont mean with opposition fans .

I like all am not particularly pleased with 2017 by far the worst year of supporting Vale i can recall.

I dont stand alone we still getting over 3700 people attending at home when we have put in bar 15 minutes v Crewe ,5 mins v Wycombe and maybe 20 mins v Notts County in general very subdued dire performances for as long back at home since Wimbledon in whatever month it was.

Can it be turned around ,yes of course but its going take motivated folk to do that and motivation must be way above anything seen for many a year .

The past is gone the present could be so much better but it wont be if players r sulking ,managers r negative and the chairman isnt willing to go .

He needs to go he must understand that .

We r in need of life support and the oxygen feel good factor when he arrived as gone.

We have back tracked so far ,he as upset to many folk to really make amends for what has happened.

17 defeats in 31 games for Brown tells u all u need to know.

Is all lost i dont think so but two people possibly need to go for things to turn .

Norman Smurthwaite and Michael Brown .

Its your doings what have got us in this perilous position and like everyone if i dont do my job well id expect be relieved of my duties .

Excellent post! !It's been a downhill slide and less of a buzz since Micky Adams left, apart from a respectable period under his assistant Page! !

If I recall correctly he asked the Vale fans to applaud the Coventry fans at one point during the game because they were in trouble and had some mad buggers in charge. I wonder if they will do the same for us on Saturday?!

With everything you post it is wrong or exaggerated.

Such the money you quote l have wasted which is near 3 M not 4M.The funds for Alnwick were left in Club as had all funds received The Grant money is paid monthly for 12 months wef 31.07.17 and the payment TF paid was a lot less then what a Bradford VP(they call them Director) paid for 1 Season

It appears it is ok for people to lie and abuse but not ok for me to reply as you are customers.

The Club is in a bad place some of that bought on by myself but it will improve and l will not be selling until the terms and party are right.

Says the man who "exaggerrated" that the 1.7 million playing budget under Page was actually £2.5 million, how ironic. Plus TF has confirmed he hasn't paid a fee, which is it ********?

Now Norman is on twitter arguing with Vale Fans and stoke fans are showering him in praise for the 'good work' he is doing...

Absolute shambles. Embarrassment.

Anyone who still supports this clown should be ashamed!

I've seen it quite a funny reply by Norman but it is embarrassing and Stoke loving it
