That's open to question but Streete's current situation does rather support the decision not to offer him the same contract. If he is struggling to find a club when he will cost nothing, it's makes it less likely that we have missed out on serious compensation. Shame for the lad, hope he gets fixed up.

Ive been today and were we ********. Popey worked his socks off,Pikey great understanding with the pontiff,the lad from Burton got loads of pace but clueless at times, keeper vocal and knows how to keeper, the chester lad on the wing was brilliant. We need an holding c/m.

Anyway, it seems we didn't do that well today but I'll always remember the pre season that we got promoted out of this league and playing Tranmere a week before the start. It finished 1-1 and it was awful to watch. No creativity and seemingly no hope for the season.

The rest is history.

 

Too many people worry about friendlies, performances and results.

This time next Saturday we will know where we are.

 

 

One might wonder if some people's posts are actually pleased at injuries so they can score points on here, it is obviously more important than the welfare of the club and players to some people.

Probably not a sly dig at all. Last season we seemed to loose a player to injury every game. Just hope that does not happen this season.

 

And I don't deny that. His words of "the last 8 months" only covers the half a season Brown was in charge for though. Because he has an agenda.
