Not convinced by Reeves at all. He was terrible against Cov and lucky not to be sent off yesterday' date=' the ref did him a good turn.[/quote']

No he wasn't. Just because he was already on a booking and he committed another foul. Not every foul is a booking.

Their number 3, Bell, was far luckier to have stayed on the pitch.

Both Reeves and Turner are two kids who aren't near ready yet but have had to be thrown in.

Excellent performance. They'll soon be able to pay MA the £100m+ loaned to them.

That loan was entirely Ashley's fault. He bought the club without doing any due diligence and didn't know until he signed on the dotted line that any change of ownership required the Barclays overdraft to be paid immediately. He had to pay it or he'd bought a pig in a poke. He has chosen to leave it on the books interest free and has not taken any of it back even though he could have done from the annual profits.

They could be v2001 #2. Hopefully they won't be but blind faith had us in this position in 2003.

The problem with V2001 is that they did not raise the cash from the fans that they had expected so had to borrow at a silly interest rate. The Board were at each others throats from much of their tenure as well which meant the decent guys left.

We don't know if any new owner would take us to the promised land, it may go **** up again. But the evidence suggests that the current owner is just making cock up after cock up so sticking with him is hardly an option.

Reeves is his new scapegoat, Kelly will likely leave soon so he must have a scapegoat or two, and picking on a promising youngster who needs encouragement is pretty much what you'd expect from a ********.

Reeves has been playing well considering his lack of experience and most normal fans realise that.

That may be true Jean. But what evidence do we have that Synectics, or anyone else for that matter, would do any better? We no longer have any influence in the matter so we just have to let events run their course.

Sadly this is where the 'blame anyone and anything else to deflect away from Norman' campaign is up to now.

Agreed. The evidence we have is that they have made a good success of their own business, that and hope!

He is listed at 14 companies. Four of them are directly related to Vale and of the others, he seems to have been appointed at nine on them on the same day 31 July 2013, all of them having previously been owned by Wildes and Co. Nothing at all to indicate the sort of profits that would have allowed him to build up his fortune. He may be a very wealthy man but Companies House doesn't tell us why.
Maybe some idea from this old Coventry Telegraph article. http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/football/football-news/millionaire-coventry-city-fan-who-3015811

So there are people who loan money and not want it back?Interesting.

I suppose if he hadn't loaned the money there may be a small toon club in the North East now?

Could be and they could just be playing hard ball with the chairman. If they really want the club and have the dollar what's to stop them other than themselves?

Personally and i dont know anything but i would hope they wanted to pay what the club is currently worth(League 2) i mean lets be realistic here it wasn't worth 6m in League 1,then they could maybe put a little more into the management or playing side of the club.

I also think they would be open to bringing in some of the contacts they know through their business deals to invest in the club.Lets be clear here,we all know that they are no fly by night nobodys like your Bratt,Jackson,Mudie,Olivers of this world
