I see Mehmet more as a #2 than a #1. If he's kept on next season as backup to Chris Neal I'd be very happy with that.

I would not keep either of them.

 

A solid keeper has to be our second urgent priority after a goalscorer or two.

Get rid for me regardless of which league we're in, Fasan to go too as well if we stay up, develop Boot & keep him in second place to a decent keeper brought in.

 

If we go down, I'd say only Fasan could possibly be understudy to someone else, neither are good enough to be our first keeper though, even in L2.

 

Preferably this set up though:

 

Neal (or like-for-like) > Boot > Youth keepers (whoever we keep on next season)

Great shout. We have far too many backup keepers and no first choice. I'd let Mehmet go as well as Johnson have Boot on the bench and Pickering out on loan.
