Most pub side keepers would have saved their second goal. I think the first goal was worse because although Bikey was fouled by Wheater climbing on him like scaling a tree Mehmet should have come for the ball and at least got a punch on it. Watch the 'highlights', he's all over the place like Bambi on ice.

Desperate times call for desperate measures so I'd play Ryan Boot in the last two games because the experience will be good for him and we need to know if he'll be any use next season. We know for sure Lethargic Leo and Deniz the Meniz won't be.

 

Booty should have been in goal after the goalkeeping fiasco at Northampton.

Incorrect, Page chose to spend the budget on different priorties. Granted, the budget was cut but Page chose to attempt to retain 10 awful players instead of offering Neal a contract (which he could have turned down).

 

Those 10 awful players had us in the top half of this League last season.

Well I'm a Port Vale fan first and foremost. I know Smurf can come across as arrogant and it seems I back him but I just feel he's getting a lot of unfair stick on here. He's not a monster.

 

No he's not a monster. He just doesn't know how to run a football club.

I think some people forget that football is a sport, a hobby not our lives.

 

Port Vale is his plaything, the fans pay the price of all of his mistakes. The mentality of paying peanuts and expecting to get quality does not work in football.
