The former Cameroon international has been training with the club and has now put pen to paper on a deal.

At 32 years of age, the defender has a vast amount of experience in England, including spells in the Premier League with Reading and Burnley.

Bikey has also had spells with English sides; Bristol City, Middlesbrough and Charlton Athletic.

In total, Andre has played in over 225 competitive games in England, scoring 13 goals.

He originally moved to England back in 2007 on a loan spell with Reading after performing well at the African Cup of Nations.

Promotion with Reading saw him play in the Premier League for the first time, a competition he played in 50 times during his career.

His last spell in England came back in the 2014/15 season with Charlton Athletic.

The defender will help boost the defensive ranks at Vale Park and compete for a place in the starting eleven.

He's our new Bob Hazell

Bob Hazell is simply angelic in comparison.

On 9 May 2009, he was sent off for stamping on Robbie Blake during the play-off semi-final first leg at Burnley, having earlier conceded the winning penalty taken by Graham Alexander. He aggravated the situation by ripping off his shirt and stamping around the pitch, resulting in the extension of his ban to five games and a charge for improper conduct

At least he has some fight in him
