Could well be true, a win on Saturday from Lady Luck followed by 4 wins and a couple of draws could see us safe for this season. Whether we have confidence in Norman or not will not affect results on the pitch at this time of the season, next season is a different matter dependent upon how the lessons and advice of this season are taken aboard.

 

We haven't won a game in 2017, it's fairytale stuff to believe we will win 4 out of our remaining 12. We're 5 points from safety as it is albeit with games in hand. I haven't seen anything this year to remotely consider the possibility that we'll still be in League One next season.

Smurf ain't going to sell up. He claims 4 parties have taken a look at the books and not taken it any further. They know what he is offering isn't good value for money. The longer he holds on for offers close to his valuation the more the value drops and the more the club goes in to debt owing Smurf. IMO we are a long way off seeing any light at the end of the tunnel for PVFC.

No confidence but more importantly no trust.

 

Everyone makes mistakes but making the same mistakes each season is why I have no confidence. The shoot from the hip brash statements about his handling of RP(even though I'm not a fan) top 6 Xmas, Plan b are all reasons why I have no trust in his words.

If you where a player or agent would you go rushing in up at Hamil road to sign,? knowing you might get your legs chopped away from you , methinks we have a poor reputation now with this Smurf , I can't see things improving until we have owners who are part of the footballing fraternity, Players talk on the media these days and Smurf has done us no favours.therefore no confidence whatsoever.

norman has made huge mistakes and has admitted same so with a substantial wedge owing he isn't likely to lose much of his investment willingly,neither would anyone else in his position so I think we still have a fighting chance,our safety or otherwise is in our own hands.those who think he should PUFO aren't thinking straight the alternative doesn't bear thinking about.just my opinion,for what it's worth.

I'm not going to verbally bash our chairman. However, his ability to run a football club is totally out of his depth. Time to cut his losses and accept that he's going to make a loss, even though I believe we're stuck with him for a while longer. I do appreciate the good he did, getting us out of league 2 but it would appear that we're about to end up where we started when Smurf & Wildes arrived.....
