I'm pretty sure I was there!

Wasn't it an April night match?

Looking at 11v11, that appears to be this one:

05 Apr 1995 (Wed) - Millwall v Port Vale - W - 1-3 - League Division 1.

But the last win away was the one after, which was the only one since:

13 Jan 1996 (Sat) - Millwall v Port Vale - W - 1-2 - League Division 1.

Smurf is the captain and the sinking ship is port Vale football club.

As far as I know he's still very much in control, still pulling the strings and still funding signings /overseeing sales of players. Which element of control do you feel he has lost?

"Sinking ship" suggests a metaphorical going-under. Do you think Vale will be relegated?

That was the one. Makes me feel a bit older considering it was twenty years ago!

I seem to recall Mark Burke scoring ultra-late against Miiiwaaaa at home in the mid-90's to pinch all three points.

I'm thinking of going tomorrow. I need help.

I hope the team are up for this game , and don't let them bully us. We seem to really be up and down with performances going from the sublime to the ridiculous. We have to get some consistancy as well as a few points. I will be happy with anything from this game, but I dont expect much .

I've told the wife that I'm taking her to London for Valentine's Day.

Strange that we seem to think Millwall may have one eye on the weekend?

Seeing as the cup is on its' backside and Leicester will play a reserve side i would think that now they have finally moved into the top 6 all eyes will be focused on this game.

It may be on its' ass for some teams but this is a huge game for Millwall. I'd be surprised if they don't sell out the home seats.

Probably will, however i don,t see them taking eye off the ball tomorrow, they are timing their run nicely.

If we want a team with eye off ball how about Peterborough, lost 5-1 at Bury, 2-0 at Oldham and 0-4 to Mk Dons,, oopppssssss

But Leicester "reserves" have won more games this year than their first team !!

Since the New year we are 0-3-3 , Millwall are 2-4-0 .

We have gone from 9 points above relegation , to well and truly in the thick of it. In fact if Bury and Oldham were to win then we will be in the bottom 4 if we lose.

How anyone can call our current predicament ' progress ' is beyond belief.

Realistically an away defeat, but the worst side i have seen all season are Shrewsbury who have somehow won 4 out of 6 including Scunny and Bradford, so i'll cling to hope eternal but won't hold my breathe.

Vale are still not scoring enough goals.

Strikers not performing by hitting the target. Against Gills, 15 shots and only three of them on target. One of them from a defender - Street.

Maybe that they are not getting the good enough service, re accurate assists from midfield?

Going from the last few games the strikers are not scoring enough. In the six games this year only five goals have been scored.

They must score one, maybe two goals to get anything from the Millwall game.
