Ive been critical but.....

All this la la land nonsense of a vale fan millionaire owning the club is a load of nonsense and wont ever happen.

I think Peter Jackson offered to buy the club once. He is a millionaire and I think he is also a Vale fan. But of course he doesn't count...

That *** Peter Jackson basically stopped wealthier people coming in for years, he was part of the destruction of PVFC.

I don't think the worry about the financial aspect of the club is in doubt,it's the chairman,s money and all the time he his enjoying the the challenge of improving the fortunes of Port Vale. Not doing it to the approval of many, the cry keeps coming up no football experience , he is learning on the job like all apprentices, mistakes will be made, saying it as it is offends some, any positives some will turn into a negative. Our biggest worry is when all the negitivety gets the better of him and the kick of being a football club owner expires. Puts a C. E.O in charge to run the club only with money generated from within. We all want success. I like many hope Michael Brown can make a success of his managerial career ,starting at the Vale,(and diminish the above scenario) helping to build a buz around Vale Park and put us in a good place for the start of the new season. A + 3k season ticket (5k would be a dream to far) sale to give our new manager m.b. a good budget for 2017-18 season. A draw at Scunthorpe (win would be better) to get us of to that new beginning. Keep the faith together we can succeed.

I'd suggest that you do as it's important to you that he's 'ploughing money in' when he may not be. My concern is what's it going to do long term if he has in mind a way of getting it back after a failure to get promotion etc. Ttransparency I suppose is what I'm looking for

Fairynuff..I don't agree but I understand the basis.

How is he not ploughing millions in if he's paying the bills which are a million quid more than we are making....whether it's loans or equity he's putting the wonga in.

How many millions did he put in? Ah yes, not many. Hardly a millionaire.

Your definition and mine are different..he's not spending he's investing..to me the former would be 'ploughing money in'. I don't deny that without his investment we'd be in schtuck I just don't see it as ploughing money in. People who bought Royal Mail shares were not ploughing money in, they were investing, expecting a return..or at least their money back.

I'll not continue repeating myself

You could do with repeating yourself as you need to explain the difference? Ploughing money in is putting a lot of money in hoping for a return. Investing and ploughing money in are pretty much the same thing!!!

Its quite simple, putting money in or not putting money in. I think what you are talking about is charitable donations.....where you never expect your money back.
