What a change! Attacking options and hopefully an intent as well. Brown will pick players if fit and motivated, use established players and bring on new players as subs as the game requires it. JJ and Eagle should be in, fitness will determine defensive positions. I assume he will have had a 1 to 1 with Grant to sort out the future, start him so that he can show that he is worthy of his place and his previous lethargy was a fitness problem, otherwise why keep him.

Quite an interesting selection dilemna tomorrow. Does Brown hand a debut to the 3 new players Guy, Eagles and Walker? I think Eagles has to start. But do we take the chance on 2 relatively inexperiened players starting too or bring them on from the bench?

Ex Stoke and Arsenal. How can Bury afford to pay him anywhere near the amount that he has been used to receiving?

 

If he plays tomorrow he might torment the Vale defence and maybe lay on assists to Pope.

According to BBC Sport, the 34-year-old had most recently been playing in the Singapore top flight with Tampines Rovers.

He has been training with the League One Shakers for several weeks, but they still need international clearance before he can make his debut.

Jermaine Pennant ,that's a name I've not heard for a while , looked to be a real player when he first started but faded and was known more for his shocking behaviour and bad attitude. How are on earth are Bury paying these wages without breaking the FFP rule ?

 

will be a tough game tomorrow night . Hopefully Hooper and Forrester are in contention. scrappy 2 1 win to the vale
