Think I'd prefer the shi..:D

Anyway, sod Stoke, did you like Cyprus? I keep thinking of going there!

Cyprus is lovely and I had one of the best hols I've ever had there. Saying that....for the flight difference I'd prob say it offers no more than some areas of Spain.

You won't be disappointed with Cyprus though

I used to go Stoke one week and vale the next. Stoke were in the old div1 and vale were in div 4, I much preferred going the vale and grew to hate Stoke with a passion, I carried on this for a while but found myself watching Stoke from the away end before I started going vale home and away. Watching top flight football isn't always good to watch it very much depends who you attend with and the cost also pays a big part.

I have a very difficult situation coming up , two of my grandchildren both boys aged 11 and 13 who i take to the Vale when ever i have them and Vale play have both been here for Sunday lunch today and have been begging me to take them go watch Stoke in the European games !

At first i thought they may be kidding around but no , when i asked why they wanted go see Stoke play their reply was '' They are good and Vale are naff '' , i could not really give an argument to that but after 30 minutes of me trying talk them out of it they still want to go and have their hearts set on it.

I fear the lads are going stop going the Vale and start going Stoke from now on and their friends all follow Stoke.

I fear Vale will be losing future fans because of Stoke's recent success and Vales lack of it.

WHAT DO I DO !?

Tell em if they are really naughty and do something very bad u will buy em 2 season tickets for the ex-council house next to the incinorater - where its minus 6 in August and the ball never touches the grass - and loads of low intelligence people in striped shirts swear & fight for 90 minutes.

Seriousley do u want ya grand kids coming home and singing the real version of Delilah in front of the whole family at xmas!.

I'm a Vale ST holder and I went to both the Split and Thun games. However I am not a born and bred stokie so can support both teams in the city with a clear concsience. It just happens that my preference is Vale but have been to the Brit several times. (But not the Victoria ground)

Why supposed Port Vale supporters even contemplate the idea of going Stoke baffles me.

I could never support stoke as I remember the vile attitude they had towards us vale fans in the 90s.

In the end some grow up and realise it is just a game and can go watch both. My best mate grew up a massive stokie but he follows both vale and stoke.

Not sure how old you are SV but if you're over 65 it'll cost you £45 for all three home matches for the three of you. If you're under 65 it'd be £70, for the three of you to see all three games. Excellent value for money I'm sure you'll agree.

I cant stand the thought of going to watch Stoke. I have worked with too many Stoke fans in the past who have been complete idiots. I just have this idea now that the majority of the ground will be filled with people like them, and that makes me think crossing the M6 on a tortoise is a better way to spend my time. I know not all Stoke fans are idiots, and I am not implying they are, just cant stand the thought of spending time around some of the Stoke fans I know. Even more so watching a game of football with them (their lack of basic knowledge of football was stunning).
