Bruno out

Were 3 points worse off than last season after 19 games, but the football and manner of defeats this season is one of the worst I've seen in a long time. We've probably had 2 decent games where we can say we deserved the 3 points, Scunthorpe and Millwall. Things aren't right behind the scenes and its obvious now to most folk, and the longer Mourinhos mate stays at the Vale the more chance we've got of been dragged further into the bottom 4.

I think if folk looked less at our 'healthy' league position and more at the dross performances on the pitch then we would all have a clearer picture of where we are heading and it doesn't look good.

Yes all teams have a 'bad day at the office' but when did we last have a good one?

its only a matter of time before Bruno gets the sack and replaced with Micheal Brown as the guy is as enthusiastic on the touch line as a turkey looking forward to Xmas.

He lacks ideas, doesn't communicate with the players on the pitch and generally appears to lack interest, wouldn't be surprised if he's lost the support of the dressing room either (Ben Purkiss)

Dreadful thread.

We all know that you'll back any manager no matter what. Glover, Adams, Page and now Bruno, they can and could do no wrong in your eyes. If our current master tactician took us down you'd still be spouting your support and insisting everything is fine from your own little bubble.

Some people will not realise we're a mid-table average club and unfortunately are likely to stay that way under for some time to come.

I agree that we are a mid table average club who don't get the gates to warrant a lengthy period in a higher league but what we watched last night until Tavares and Paterson left the scene was utter dross. This type of performance will reduce the gates even further until no-one will be bothered to turn up. Down to the faithful few now and judging by this thread, most of them are getting very disillusioned including myself.

You know someone is losing the argument when they have to bring a completely different club and manager into it.

So predictable, just like you wanting to give Bruno a reach around despite his constant **** football and formations.

27th September wasn't it? Millwall at home? 2 months and 12 games ago.

This is the issue isn't it? We've sneaked a few points here and there but our overall displays in all of those 12 games has been poor, with no sign of improvement. It's clear why the natives are very restless, as we are slipping down the Table. We were then 5th, 3 points off the top two. We're now 12th and closer to the bottom four than top two, having been comprehensively outplayed by rock bottom, toothless Oldham, just as we have been by Coventry, Stevenage, Doncaster, Mansfield and the rest.

It really has been very depressing and that's why 90% of posters on here are frustrated. The pattern of every game is the same. The formation is wrong, the team selection is questionable, yet we carry on regardless.

But with slightly worse performances.

Probably explains the drop in attendances.

Like last season was anything to write home about!

As a football club we are doggy paddling. The fact is that supporters are either not turning up or turning up because they think it's their duty.

That's not how it should be. Things are wrong on and off the pitch.

A month ago it was "Yeah but we are 4th" then it's "We are still in the playoffs" then it's "We are only two points off the playoffs" now it's "We are only 3 points off the playoffs"

You see the pattern?

You see the performances, you must surely see where we are heading.

Only the blindest optimist must think we are a team that can challenge the top 6.

The caliber of opposition we played tonight was woeful. They've have scored 9 all season!

Forget Saturday, make no mistake the cup match is our cup final. Certainly Bruno's.

Adams out.

Page out.

Bruno out.

See the pattern?
