How many times has anyone actually seen these people play recently?

I am always amazed at the depth of knowledge on players on this MB. I assume many of you either...

 

a) travel about watching four or five games a week

b) play championship manager a lot and confuse it with reality

c) talk ******** with aid of Wikipedia and google

 

No wonder Vale got rid of Ray Williams, they can get all this wisdom for free.

Would not know him if he was sucking my nuts Ant. I pay very little attention to who is who for the opposition players.

 

Just seems that some people (not you) seem to talk about almost every lower league player with authority. They are either a scout or they talk crap or they judge it on Championship manager...

 

I just find it tedious. I bet when real scouts read this site they have a right giggle at the "never been anywhere except Vale" experts on all players from PL reserves to the BSP...

Id have fallon and thornton over a fully fit haldane and pope anyday. Thornton can cross a goal and score the odd goal fallon is more experienced and would score more goals than pope.
