I find that quite astonishing. I know he's managed at or near the top of the club game for many years but I thought his big failing at Everton was an inability to organise their defence and IMO the one thing Belgium need is to get their defence sorted.

 

Now I read that Hodgson is being offered millions to go to China...you could not make it up

It seems that the Chinese are attempting to take over the Midlands,first Birmingham,then Villa,Wolves and now West Brom.What's going on?

Will Walsall and the Vale be next? Things in the UK are cheap at present, also I think the Chinese want to be No1 in Football, and the Far East is a growing TV market. Thais have done well at Leicester and are also growing the Owls.

Is Steve Evans trying his best to link up with the most odious owners in football? After that dreadful Italian chap at Leeds, he may be a perfect match for the Hull owners who (if you take a look at any Hull forum or blog) the fans despise.

 

Well, he is one of the most odious managers in football!

I'm still laughing at the pillock on Five Live who described Hull's "start" as a fantastic story.

 

They've won two games. That's not even a book cover, never mind a story.

 

Absolutely insane hype around the Premier League these days.

 

Does anyone remember when the first ten games were generally thought to be the start of a team's season?

Hardly big news but National League Guiseley have sacked their manager five games in. Is five games really enough time to judge someone?

 

And he wasn't even the first one in that league. Eastleigh sacked their manager after 4 games. Ronnie Moore was appointed as new manager last Friday.
