OT, is there much more that can be said on this, considering it seems doubtful we're going to get any more information on the issue any time soon? Seems to just be a back & forth between a few.

So Norman bans the Sentinel for supposedly a lie, and then lies himself! I can categorically state that Norman has been a guest at a Sentinel awards night, he has been to at least two and I spoke to him at one of them, quite easy to get proof from the Sentinel photo dept. He didn't pay for his own ticket either, no-one does, they are invitation only.

I covered Saturday's game for the Sentinel, paid to get in and then asked if I could go into the press box. I was politely told the Sentinel journalists are not allowed in there, they have certainly not opted not to go in there.

I believe a photographer was made redundant last year, but he did not usually do football and the decision was nothing to do with Gerard taking match photos instead.

Can we expect Norman to issue an apology for a tissue of lies now? Thought not.

On the other hand he is in the wrong at times and must shoulder some blame for this petty squabble.

I will always give him credit whe it is due and criticism when that is due.

sorry from your posts you speak like a man on here to me, this forum doesnt display gender so how do i know, i have also have no idea if you look and vocally sound like one in real life as well i can only guess, you are as important to me as my grammar is on a internet forum, explain why i need to try at all?

i will say again "it", at what stage did i turn this into a grammar battle? i mocked him for insulting me for the very thing he was insulting me for after not even bothering to make a counter argument to my post. i feel sorry for the children who had to be taught by you, they should of just been handed a box of crayons instead to play with it would of probably been more useful.

At this point it became a discussion about the value of the older generation, not the sentinel.

I joined in here and defended the older generation, still off topic.
