Unbelievable does not necessarily mean good. We have signed a load of players that nobody has ever heard of or seen but some fans appear to be experts of the European lower league scene and are convinced beyond doubt of the impending success. We then sign an ageing winger and a lad whose played a handful games for Morcombe and Bury and all of a sudden the top six beckons!

 

I've got my season ticket. I genuinely hope it works out and I'll be behind them all the way. I just don't get the absolute certainty of some fans that we have a better/stronger squad when there is so many unknowns at this point.

When do we reach the stage when we are loaning out players we have brought in? Not being negative but we are accumulating a large squad, and apparently the conveyor belt is still running. Surely exciting, but will the STs start to move or will Norman be happier if people pay full price next month on a per match basis?

I see the point but we still have a few good players from last season and the new signings in the main are actually quite experienced, at least in terms of games played.

 

It is a gamble, but a more appealing one than the same squad and a sprinkling of additions. The fact all our so called old stars are now in League 2 with the exception of Dodds tells us a lot.
