A 2nd referendum

"Scotland's first minister has said autumn 2018 would be a "common sense" date for any second independence referendum.

Nicola Sturgeon continued to insist, however, that no final decision had yet been made on holding such a vote. "

Well given it's not her nor the SNP's nor the Scottish parliament's decision to make that's very generous of her.

Still there's always the food banks at the last count over a million in the uk relying on free food handouts under this caring sharing government

The very same people who tear themselves away from their 55" flat screens, the pub and bingo to queue for food handouts with twenty fags and an iPhone hanging out of their pockets.

I work with people who have to use foodbanks and this kind of ignorant, lazy bullsh*t couldn't be further from the truth.

Food poverty isn'tnew but should not exist in this day and age but very very few are as you describe above.Anyway it's worth the few abusers to be able to help the genuine

And they're off..or they will be soon

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-39325561

Brexit Secretary David Davis said the UK was now "on the threshold of the most important negotiation for this country for a generation"...which in most of the UK means about 25 years but in Scotland means about three years

Tim Farron "Leaving the single market was not on the ballot paper in the referendum, it is a political choice made by Theresa May." neither was staying in the single market.....it was a democratic choice made by the people of the UK.

This whole Brexit saga is as boring as the rubbish endless soaps on tv made worse by a heavy sprinkling of winging Scots

I agree with a Labour MP for a change when Kezia Dugdale said: "Nicola Sturgeon wakes up every single day thinking of ways to engineer another referendum because leaving the UK is the only thing that matters to her.

It isn't improving education in Scotland,it isn't lifting children out of poverty,it isn't giving us a health service fit for the 21st century. It's independence - she is a nationalist and that will always come first".

Well said Kezia,couldn't agree more.

I am not talking about the Falklands, though she used the Falklands conflict for her own ends and won an election on the bodies of British servicemen by glorifying their heroic deeds for herself when she was miles behind in the polls before the Argentinians attacked.

No, she declared war and her crimes were against her own people and the communities she destroyed, the mining towns , the steel plants and beginning the ruin of Stoke-on-Trent.

The whole Thatcher family was corrupt, look at her son - a real disgrace, and Denis the twot.

as much as she's hated, and she is, she had the balls to stand up against a dictator nearly 8000mls away, alone except for some diplomatic help from Chile and Brazil, for the islanders who wanted to remain British. The eu did nothing except France carried on selling exocets and fighter spares! to Argentina, the security council dithered and wrung its hands so again no help.
