Barnsley win 6-1 against Walsall who beat Vale 7-0 on aggregate, but Vale share the spoils with Barnsley 2-2, funny old game. Changing managers during the season maybe the reason?

Odd that in all of the playoffs semis 6th/7th have beaten 3rd/4th, and none of the teams that I wanted to go up have.

 

Now have to settle for Sheffield Wednesday, Millwall and Plymouth, if you're a betting person get your money on the others.

I'd like to see Sheffield Wednesday go up, if only because I hate everything about Steve Bruce. His voice, his face, his personality... Eurgh!

 

From a Vale point of view, I guess it would be best if Millwall go up and Wimbledon come up. Be great to see them playing MK Dons if they do.

I hope that Wednesday go up, lived with a lad at uni who was a big Wednesdayitte (SP) very good lad, went out for a beer at our very local one quiet Sunday night, he was wearing his shirt, he was told in no uncertain terms that if he ever wore it agin in said put he'd be knifed! Nice place Leicester!

 

Also got back from some away trip a few weeks ago and loads of them were going into Moguls curry house in Burslem on their way back for an away trip. They said that they went there fairly often on their travels.

Maybe Walsall needing to win by a big margin against us just in case Burton slipped up on the last day shows what can be achieved by going out in a positive manner in an away game rather than the usual play for a draw syndrome.

Personally would much rather Barnsley went up than either Millwall or Bradford. Both of the latter are better days out in my view.
