Time to go smurf

The one next to me last season was absolutely caked in it and nobody cares. The occupant in one game took a right splattering, in fact it was the only thing that happened that night.

Sitting in **** isn't pleasant but listening to it is even worse.;)

And he said he would! He can't do anymore as one fan than that!

It's down to the club to do more.

You said in your previous post to me you were referencing the 'start' post?

The start post stated we [the club] will be ok ... the reply was but will you [the club].... my fair question comment was directed at the "but will you"

Mr Smurf has created a stable club at League 1 level but not been able to make the business work to his satisfaction. I am going to Chesterfield on Saturday and it seems to me that Port Vale need a new start in a new stadium like Chesterfield.

What does a local MP know about American investors... They pass the fit and proper persons test, then good for me.... You ask the many fans of premier league clubs onwed by foreign investors, did they think that the 'investors' had the best interests of the clubs at heart... They'd all probably say no... They are just after the riches on offer in the premier league and the global reach it affords.

To be fair I wouldn't trust the "Fit and proper" persons test as far as I could throw it, judging by history.

I honestly don't think that Tom Pope exists anymore, and after his spike in goals in the promotion season and the first half of the first League 1 season he is back to a honest lad with little threat. For me, he was poor last year, and across the last 2 seasons has just about limped into double figures. As I've said in another post we have replaced the Tom Pope of last year - it is a better version of him that we need.

I loved Martin Foyle and the way he formed effective partnerships with everyone he played with, but that boat has long since sailed too.

Unless you have a very clear crystal ball Mr Eagle how do you know how the season would have panned out if Tom had remained at Vale Park. I find many folks comment on here about Popey very disrespectful. Do you lot not remember that until he was injured last term he was joint top scorer in the League and though I think he was rushed back too so I remember his performance against Preston when he came on a possibly the point that kept us in L1 because after that game it gave the team new heart.

I also feel that we lost a good targetman and Popey lost his inspiration because though he got a pay increase at the end of the day a very ignorant and disrespectful owner forced him out of the club with his shocking contract offer and snide remarks.

Also I'd have Popey back with a walking stick over the motley crew that are currently darkening our doorstep this season.
