1400 u can get tickets till today will u be able pay on the gate cause I'm iffing rring .

Love going there but after no show last week I'm not sure I want waste me money ,although the atmosphere is usually that good amongst the Vale continent the game usually becomes quite insignificant anyway .

Where are most people planning on going for a drink, people planning on drinking in town centre or 2 pubs close to the ground.

 

Your better off in the town centre as Tomo says. I play darts in Shrewsbury and and the beer at the Brooklands(pub closest to the ground) was dire to say the least when I was in there a week or so ago despite them having a reasonable choice(Peroni, Kronenbourg and even Woodpecker on draught plus a couple of Ales). Most of our team were not impressed! I've not been in the Charlie Darwin which is the other pub on the estate near the ground for over a year but last time I went in was generally your typical fizzy pop pub(i.e. Carling and Strongbow) and not a great deal else.

 

I can recommend the Salopian on Smithfield Road, excellent choice of Real Ale, lagers(good selection of Belgium ones although most are bottled) and ciders which pretty much caters for all tastes. It's not the biggest of pubs and not overly cheap(I suppose where is these days!!) but it has several tvs with Sky etc.

No u can get your tickets till 14.00 ,I'm going leave it I'm going Chesterfield instead ,I'm skint and I'm not sure going into me overdraft is necessary especially after last week's events.

I believed in them players till last week know I don't I'm glad some people still do though over a 1000 of them fair play to each and all .

Yes another good one quite a few oldy worldly pubs round the backstreets of Shrewsbury if you have time to explore. It's a bit like York on a smaller scale!

I think if Vale win the next 2 games and Bradford and Barnsley lose their next 2 games, come 5.00 monday vale could be 6th..for a few hours at least.
