Another tough away day, the hardest yet, but we live in hope, who knows what is around the corner? A late Xmas present? Hounded by the press no doubt.

Sadly imo it will be the late Christmas present Coventry wanted! Unless Vale find the formula to get the players actually performing to their abilities then we are in for a long, bleak winter.

Coventry were a very poor team last season, but this present season the team is vastly improved and getting far better results. They have scored 39 goals and conceded only 23.

Port Vale were a pathetic squad of players last season and this present season, especially over the last few games are hardly any better. This toothles tiger team has the eighth lowest total goals scored in L1.

I would like to be pleasantly surprised by way of the Vale getting a good result, but if the present team selection and tactics continue I have reservations as to wether or not that the team will score and at the same time feel that Coventry will score one or more.

I was there at the Ricoh stadium last season when we beat them 3-2--we can always live in hope....................................

Well after yet another disappointing away result ,performance was ok till there goal then we were abject .

Here's my team some shocks I don't I want c Vale going for it and playing a completely different formation as the one we r going with gets found cause we stick to it well page does .

I've never seen him play 3 up top ,all I c is just play the same way every game all game ,is that good enough page no it isn't.

ALNWICK

PURKISS STREETE MCGIVERN DICKO

Foley O'connor Birchall

U need have a player who carries the ball forwards Foley u can't have two the same Grant to be dropped not good enough his performances away r poor are home he seems like playing at home defo isn't the same away.

Hooper Uche AJ

Energy in midfield a little bit of something up front which might actually make us more effective ?on the other hand it might not but u won't know unless u try .

Stop been so predictable Odriscoll changed it yesterday and along with Grant and the liner won them the game ,the most annoying thing is we did not respond like Valiants to that goal we responded like a mouse not a lion.
