what have the costs for a meal in the boxes gone up to ? some unhappy box holders i hear

My experiences and opinions about catering in the last couple of seasons;

In the ground in general, pies etc have been too fatty for me and tend to give me indigestion so I steer clear.

Had a box + meal for the lad's 18th and we all thought the food was decent, of a Beefeater type menu such that you could see where there was a decent profit margin for the caterer but good honest stuff. Not sure if people who are more used to fancy corporate hospitality would have rated it the same but hit the spot for us. I hope standards are maintained.

I ve not seen any prices yet, but I've have been advised that there is a greater selection of menus

Sorry about the misinformed comment about Lindley and Coates. As was pointed out he sold it in 2001.

I assume they tailor the menu to suit local tastes, oatcakes are quite different in Scotland. difficult to wrap around bacon.

From what i have been told the catering will show sharp price rises on matchday kiosks, its expected that alcohol will be as much as £4.50 perbottle in lorne street and its thought pies could be around the £2.50-£3 mark.

 

Im willing to give it ago but if the prices ive been quoted are true then they can forget it as thats a rip off.
