Well thank you to the players and manager for yesterday's shambles, you have cost the club I would reckon about half a million, a full house, television money, it really would have got the buzz going.

 

I don't think the players will be bothered one bit what they have cost us, they will turn up and pick up their wages like nothing has happened, thanks again for ruining any excitement that we had in the season.

Only the premier and championship team are drawn alphabetically, whatever happened yesterday either Exeter or Vale were going to be ball number 51 so thanks to the gutless performance yesterday, they have cost us big time.

Whoever progressed was going to be ball 51.

Gutted for Norman but I don't think we'd have got anything like 500k in gate receipts, even before we split the proceeds with Liverpool. Would have more than likely been on TV though.

Probably not as high as £500k of "lost" income but if televised it would have very likely been over £250k based on the broadcast fee (3rd round last year = £144k) and gate receipts share (say our share being £100k after costs and the split with away side).

 

Stick radio, highlights and merchandise/catering on top and its £250k plus.

Yeah that was probably over estimation but think we could have charged £25 and got a sell out, television money works out at around 70k per club, on top of 30k for winning yesterday, I am sure this would have set us up for a number of seasons but we will just have to wonder what might have been.

No we weren't. I saw Saturday, both Vale and Exeter were ball 51. Klopps first FA cup game, so defo would of been on TV.

Spot on comments. This was a MASSIVE loss to our club. Ok sometimes lower league teams win, that can be acceptable but not the way we played.
