Would Sparks - This Town Ain't Big Enough For Both Of Us count? I can't remember any other biggies from them in the commercial sector.

 

I think BEAT THE CLOCK was quite successful too, a good dance/pop/electro song that got in the UK top ten. Sparks were a strange group, considered by some as really cool, others thought they were a novelty act - but I think some of their songwriting was superb.

Runaway Train by Soul Assylum is a brilliant song. Quite an emotional video as well.

 

And as someone else as pointed out, You Get What You Give by The New Radicals - what a great song.

 

The lead singer of them wrote Life is a Rollercoaster for Ronan Keating, no need!

Saw John Farnham a few weeks ago. He was dreadful.

 

Like Danny Wilson (not to be confused with Danny George Wilson) , there albums were pretty good as were offshoots, King L, Gary Clarke and Swiss Family Orbison.

 

Arthur Brown is ace , saw him a few years ago, the support act was Tim Rose just before he died. (Led Zep pinched Bonzo from Tims band)
