Which of the following have never guested with Fairport Convention on stage or on record

Robert Plant

Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull

Gary Brooker of Procol Harum

Billy Conolly

Frank Skinner

Steve Harley

Cat Stevens

Scott Walker

Johnny Logan - 2 times winner of Eurovision

Andy Fairweather Lowe

Julianne Regan of All about Eve

Roy Wood

Everything But The Girl

Billy Bragg

Twiggy from the Royle Family

Only one of the above.

It would have to be a guess, and that makes me go for one of the least expected answers so I'll guess that it is either Ian Anderson or Gary Brooker. If the Vale players dont win all their games on tour, they should be made to research the correct answer in their hotel rooms.:)

Wrong on both counts. Anderson has probably appeared with them more than any of the others apart from one - Twiggy!

Another co conspirator died last week , Wurzel ex of Motorhead.

I'll have to wait for someone else to enlighten me, I did see Fairport once but I'd rather not say how long ago it was but Gordon Lee was at Vale at the time.:(

The mock turtles were quite good around 1991, I think the singer was/is Steve Coogans brother.

Correct. I got all their stuff and still listen to it.

Flying Lizards - Money (cover of the Beatles' song) ........loved that.

Good call (got the 12" vinyl - what an intro!)

My GF would argue they had more than one hit though.........

I remember noodling around on me geetar one night and stumbling across the intro chords and sounding awesome...for a while anyway!! :-)

They probably did release a follow up but it didn't have quite the impact

It Bites - Calling all the heroes? Again probably did release a follow up
