Yep, Gary Moore was taken ill whilst on tour in the US. Lynott asked him to fill in and the rest of the band never met him until the dressing room of the first gig. There they were all leather clad whilst he was putting on yellow spandex and hairspray!

Just been listening to Credo, the new Human league album again and it really is pretty good. Polished production and they can still write a good song. The royalties have dried up a bit though, and one of the girls has had to get a part time job working as a.... oh forget it, not even BHFred could pull that off as a wind-up.

 

After Fairport Nick's popular question, I have a couple to see who has an hour or two to spare (again no prizes sadly):-

 

No real answers as these can run on, but firstly can anyone offer up a song that has the most place names (towns, areas, countries) in it, and list them please.

Second one, which song can you offer that has the highest total of numbers sung in it (so if a song started with 1-2-3-4 that would give you 10 to be going on with....and if a song mentions a number, then you can count it each time it is said/sung). I'll start you off with 24 hours from Tulsa and guess that it mentions 24 about 10 times so thats 240 to beat.

OK thats there to be beaten.... if you have the odd hour between moderating furiously (joking, glad to see new mods on board) and living the rest of your life Stone V, can you tell us the list of places in Rotterdam so everyone knows how many they have to beat, and if anyone can be bothered to count how many times the lovely hairy one says '99' in that song that will give us a total to be beaten for that too.:)
