Thing is, if Cooper goes, they wouldn't employ someone like Evans, it'd be another "yes man" like Cooper. Lee Power is the one picking the team every week, and that ain't gonna change any time soon.

As much as a detested figure as Evans is (I can't stand the guy either), he deserves credit for achieving back-to-back promotions with Rotherham.

 

Yes he was financially well backed, but he still had a job to do, and did it well,

 

Also kept them up in the Championship first season too. Aside from that, he Statements and comments in the media scream of an attention-seeker, someone who loves to wind up the opposition fans and Managers alike, and to be fair to him he does a good job of doing that.

Strange timing, don't like the guy but delivered results for Rotherham. Amazed they stayed up last season and are always going to struggle in the championship so current league position no surprise. Sounds like a fall out internally and having seen what Evans is like that looks fav.
