Mostly agreed, albeit Uche rather than JJ (would be on the bench though) and Dodds instead on Andoh. At least that way we have a bit of firepower if we do have to chase the game. Think Page really needs to get something from this, likely to be another big away following at a much smaller team which many people - rightly or wrongly - will think we have a automatic right to be beating. I think defeat - especially to nil - will see the pressure really cranked up, particularly with some very difficult games coming up.

Well, if it was ever going to be tested it would be in games like yesterday's or next weeks, where it's a tight pitch and space is limited.

I would personally go with Uche and AJ, think he deserves a go and is a much more talented player than hes having the chance to show. My dads mate is a scout at vale and watches training regularly, highly rates AJ.

'cause he's done that, what, once? Twice perhaps? If Page brings subs on early he's criticised, if he brings them on late he is also criticised.

 

 

Daniel was a more than adequate impact sub last season, and looked like he could challenge for a starting place in pre-season. For some reason, that hasn't carried on in to this season. Really disappointing, along with Sam Kelly's performances so far (assist v Burnley notwithstanding).
