I can get into the Blades or - IF desperate - the Owls for LESS next season! They may as well make it £50 a go, don't think it's going to make ANY difference to how many people will part with their hard earned cash as the line in the sand has been drawn LONG ago, June 1st to be exact!............ :shifty:

You lot really are bitter aren't you? 4th division gash? It's my 4th division gash thank you.

6658 comments about lower league gash. Time for a new hobby?

Let's see how many of you actually go away matches because at this rate they are going to be all ticket affairs.

Season Ticket holders have priority so you can all kiss Burton goodbye for a start.

Do you think the whole ground will be full ?

Burton should have a full house when we visit.

If the SEO militants attend away games I hope they concentrate on backing the team instead hoping they lose and go into administration.

No, it's about Port Vale.....if your convinced Chaudry will find a club in the conference as appealing to his ego you stick to your guns.

Its going wind up in the conference anyway with your best mates in charge.=========

What is the point? Seriously.

Despite thread after thread of explanation, we still get what can only be described as uneducated 'morons' (to quote Mrs Bratt), trotting out the same inane crap without any reasoning. I am getting very tired at the number of "new" posters popping up, saying I am not a real fan.

To every poster that wants to claim SEO and B&G are not real fans, you are cowardly scum!

To those who can hold an opposing view but understand others reasoning for the actions they are taking, carry on debating, its what its all about - but I would urge you to jump on the idiots who do your side of the argument much harm.

I am also amazed at those who had a change of heart when Micky came back, not because they had that change of heart but they seem to have developed a real aggression towards the cause they were supporting just a few weeks ago. Why?

What I can't understand is the 50p. Why not just £20 if they must put it up? That 50p is crackers. For every thousand walk ups that's only 500 quid a game. You only have to put 25 folk off attending because of that 50p and you've lost all of that. You know how shops always charge £9.99 instead of a tenner for psychological reasons - Vale seem to be doing exactly the opposite.

Exactly what I was thinking Jean. The psychological barrier does exist. You see something for 29.99 and although obviously it's only one pence short of thirty quid it does indeed register as being much less expensive. I read somewhere that it's because our minds register the first number i.e. 29.99 would register and being in the twentys rather than nearer thirty... confused.com :D

That's exactly right Caz and Jean. The business I used to be in always used to boast that the price of their product never increased. It was left to the individual if he wanted to invest in more of the product.Forcing or expecting people to pay more for the same product is never correct IMO.

I have massive experience in the processes of psychological pricing.

If I tell my hubby my new shoes cost £49.99 I can definitely get away with it. If I told him they were 50 quid he wouldn't be a happy bunny! :D
