Smurfs got the wembley bug......

I don't care if I get 100 - comments on here because what I say is the truth and sometimes the truth hurts. Look at Preston's forward line which will have cost more alone than our total budget. They say money doesn't guarantee success but without money in football you get nowhere I'm sorry to say.

If Smurf hasn't or isn't prepared to put the funds in that's fine it's his wallet and his decision but please, please stop telling us that he can get us to the Championship because it will never happen on cut budgets. Sadly money rules football.

No you talk bullocks. Tom Pope wouldn't make Preston's bench but is probably paid more than their forwards. Beckford, garner, Davies and ebanks-blake .

Get over yourself it's embarrassing and the minuses are a reflection that it is just you who thinks this way.

Please bore off with this constant negativity, it is not the truth at all its just you crying because Pope will be leaving.

To say it would never happen is ridiculous. The season Yeovil got promoted I am going to assume they spent less than £2.5 Million, which is about what we spent last year.

It's time for all are supporters to get behind the club and buy season tickets, more sales bigger budget

Got 2 already paid for..one under 9's and will be getting my 18yr old nephew his in a couple of weeks,i think appointing Bodin is a very positive step forward and i just hope fans now turn out and back Page and Bodin

Yes he has said that Page will only get 1.7m but do you believe that?? He said after last season that we were going to sign conference players and kids to start last season, did we?? i actually think if smurf knows what he wants then the money will be there on top of the budget:yes:

I'd agree, he's put his money where his mouth is in each of the last 3 seasons, he's just trying different ways to drum up support.

Anyway in terms of the budget as the old saying goes it's not the size that matters, it's what you do with it that counts! ;)

I am pleased he is still willing to pay more money into this club and help it move forward :). Another positive message by Smurf. Rise in the season ticket sales could improve our playing budget to bring in a few quality signings in the summer and a new backroom staff by Page. Who knows.. where we will be next May? :). Also I wonder how Smurf went on with his meeting with Crystal Palace Chairman about Ryan Inniss and another player we are linked who hasn't been named yet. I am guessing the unnamed player is Kyle De Silva :). He is a young creative midfielder. He has been playing under 21s football at Palace. He has been released by Palace. Palace did say they are hoping for a football league club to sign him.

Well obviously... More sales means a bigger budget.

Why would that be the player? Especially if he is no longer with palace. Surely it will be one of there players that they want to get experience. :):)

Have a look at PNE's home average crowd as well, using your wise words of wisdom, without the supporters you don't get the money

I was only guessing that's all. Just because he has left Palace doesn't mean that Palace are not trying to find a football league club to go to. Yeah maybe it could be another under 21s player. Who knows.. :).
