I'm not a Page fan but surely avoiding relegation was his main job when he took over. Job done give credit where it is due. We are playing league 1 football next season, let's enjoy.

 

From where we were 10 games ago compared to now though? Yes his original job was to avoid relegation but ambitions can change throughout the season. As we climbed the league, up to two points off the top 6 I would be surprised if Page himself would have been happy just to stay up.

Page's tactics today were spot on, the result proves it. Page in, players want to play for him, he's made some good signings (Innes/Collins), kept us safe in the face of adversity (poor ref decisions/injuries to key players).

Agree in a way, you forget we were rock bottom (I think) at one point in the season, and flirting with the playoffs flattered us somewhat.

Or the other side of the coin Vale being caught on the break as has happened several times this season, Page's tactics spot on today.....Vale won the game, a game we needed to win and that's a fact no probably's needed.
