He did a decent job while he was here, took us up, but he'd done all he could and it was good he moved on. Would be a step back to have him back (and a giant leap forward if Glover would **** off and move on)

Perceptive comments after only a few months but then again I suppose Adams is quite a Ronseal manager and it wouldn't take long to work him out.

 

The only thing is that he signed so many players himself, and a lot of them had worked with him before. If he couldn't get them to play for him, he really did have problems.

 

When you look at the badly organised clubs who fall through the leagues and into the conference, it makes you realise how lucky we were at the time. Ironically it took a manager like Adams to knock the club into a bit of shape.
