After Colchester on Friday Vale have away games at Rochester, Scunthorpe and Yeovil, and Home games to M.K. Dons, Preston and Fleetwood.

After Colchester I forecast 4points from the last 6 games.

3 ? against Colchester would then total 55 points. Just enough???

It's going to be a nail biting end to the season.

Over the last 10 years, no team has gone down from League One with a points tally of 51 and in one season the team placed 20th survived with 44. It looks very tight this season though with only five points between 15th and 21st. So we will probably need 53 points to be absolutely safe - one win and two draws with seven games left.

The question is, can we pull out of this dire sequence of results? It's going to be very close. On our current form, we have got a lot to put right.

I wonder what the atmosphere is like behind the scenes,Smurf might think he's been clever about contracts but its not doing results much good.

And agents will be whispering in players ears "Dont worry I can fix you up at (insert club of choice) so thats the reason for the drop in form, at the end of the day the players play for the wages not for the club, except in Popes case .

I'm sure you're right about the agents' already whispering in a few ears, but ask Jordan Hugill if that situation did him any good last season? The biggest problem is that both the agents and the players mostly have a much higher opinion of their ability than most of us do!

I agrre. Whatever he does he will probably get slated, but I, for one, are forever grateful that he provided the funds and bought us out of receivership--those were the really dark days and i hope Norman is given the credit he deserves for at least putting the club back on its feet.

It isnt looking good at all. Yes I still think Page is the man forward give the new squad a pre-season then see where we are at Christmas. As for now we actually need to stay up.

He's had basically a new squad this season! The amount of players we've gone through is ridiculous. I don't want page with the new squad, also I've mentioned this many times but what is the point in the o Sullivan signing.

I can't see us losing every game to end of season ( but you never know )

Get Steve Davis in, he is an astute manager - good with tactics and motivating players, if given proper funds he could be a very good manger.

Page is a nice guy but has shown numerous times that he is found wanting on selection and tactics, he doesn't changes things depending on the opposition.

He would only move to a bigger club.
