Bradford will be firing for this one, ahead of their Sunderland match, I don't wish to be negative but I see Vale losing this one 2-1.

 

Hope you are wrong on this one, they may be 'saving themselves' instead, but it is a match that should be interesting and a chance to see whether we think they really are as good as they looked at Chelsea. Plus a welcome back for Billy Knott, a player I wish we had kept, and we need to make sure he is kept under a tight leash.

Our starting line-up will be interesting, I await Vale Fan In Alsager's team with a little trepidation, and I don't mean that in a nasty way at all, as I admire his enthusiasm very much.:)

When you loo at the goals conceded they are nearly all defensive howlers we really do have a poor defence. I just hope popy finds is shooting boot fast.

Most goals in any league are scored by defensive errors, so why should vale be any different, just got to keep working on it and put away our own chances. keep the faith.

I have only been two games this year both very poor results and performance levels .

In both of the games we had no.cutting.edge at all and conceded 4 terrible goals ,Chesterfield and Crewe at home.

Pick a team well im.going with this as i might spend the afternoon.just chilling as watching Vale at present is a most annoying way of spending.me free time .

Not too much can be altered in the slack defence.

The attack looks to have more punch in it and a would have a chance of scoring one or two. But Rob Page won't agree with it. He's sure to find a place for Birchill.

Am I right in that you are trying to say something along the lines of Page's 'Cliquey' lineup. I suspected for a while the complacency of the regular starters. I said from the outset we needed a new man with new ideas and a new backroom staff. If Page does not achieve at least a top ten finish and continues to use the same players week in week out...he should go.
