If we're completely honest with ourselves, the rest of the season doesn't look massively promising.

 

We've yet to beat a team who is currently higher than 12th, which is sort of an indication of how good we actually are. We've kept 1 clean sheet all season, and that was against 10 men. We're out of all 3 cup competitions by November.

 

I agree that things are improving under Page but realistically a top half finish and the squad being trimmed of the dead wood in preparation for next season is, in my opinion, the best we can hope for.

 

Feel free to call me an armchair fan. I've probably been to more Vale games than you this season.

Some people need to get a grip. Season over? it's November for God's sake! It was hardly an easy game against 4th in the League. It will come together! We must have the most negative fans in football. Some bloke on FB said he's been going since the 70's and today was the last straw, what a joke! Some people have short memories. As fans we need to do our bit and get behind the team instead of throwing our toys out the pram when we realise we aren't Real Madrid.

 

Thank you! Every week folks are either on cloud nine and up for promotion, or alternatively some fans are suicidal.

 

It's like Vale fans suffer from some sort of bi-polar disorder.

 

It wasn't the easiest of draws. We didn't lose to Canvey Island or Chasetown. Keep taking the Prozac.

You'd have to suffer from bi-polar disorder to be a Vale fan. It's a requirement. :)

Win at home next week v Rochdale [NOT Real Madrid], and we'll be on the verge of a play off league position. Adam's last 6 league games netted ZERO points, Rob Page's first 8 have netted 14........ His first four home games in charge have averaged 3 goals a game so far........Even if you are in the glass half empty camp we would have a vital relegation scrap to battle out...... If your glass is half full then who knows!!?...... The season is ANYTHING but over.....To the opening poster, you chose your name well!?......:yes::laugh::D

What did yesterday teach anyone that they didn't already know? We look decent going forward but can't defend. That's been apparent since the first day of the season. The only thing I'm surprised about is it has taken until November for our first 4-3.

 

Same could be said about Milton Keynes - they conceded 3...
