PL 2015/16 - Favourites? Plus my Liverpool...

You make your own luck in football, as you do in life.

Without the crosses and pull-backs there are no own goals today, it's not like the QPR players ran it into their own net.

It may be so but it is interesting that Pablo Zabaletta, Steve Caulker and Richard Dunne have all scored more Premier League goals for L'pool this season that Balotelli!

Balotelli has been shocking the last few games. But people are bringing him up like I've somehow tried to defend him in any way. All I have said, and will again, is that he's not a lone striker and will perform a lot better alongside Sturridge, though once Daniel is back in the side finally, Mario will more than likely be on the bench. Borini would have done a much better job than him today, and that's saying something!

Two horse race between Chelski and Man.City for the PL,you can forget anyone else.Liverpool may just scrape into the top four?

I'd be happy with 4th place. Without Suarez it was always going to be far more difficult for Liverpool this season, and also with the added pressure of trying to match the outstanding performance of last season and also playing European football again.

I rate Rodgers highly and think he's one of the best young managers in the game, but he's not perfect and in the summer he really should have bought in a player that really made a statement. Balotelli has a reputation and can be a big game player but we all know how inconsistent he is. He should have drove Borini to Sunderland himself to finalize his 14 million move, and that added on top of Balotelli's fee could have given him 30 million to try and find a genuine replacement for Suarez.

Carragher scathing of Shawcross on the box at the moment. He's right too. I wonder if anyone other than the more one-eyed element of the Stoke crowd believe he should be anywhere near the England side.

Interesting stat by JC cheshire,Shawcross has given away more penalties than any other player in the Prem.He said players, managers and refs know all about his fouling at corners so we can safely say his penalties conceded should be, at least ,treble the amount they are.Ryan for England!(RL that is)

Yep.

I'll have a bet with any takers here that Liverpool get a result on Wednesday? ;)

Silly in the extreme, you are lucky I am not in the area as if I were I would arrange to meet you, have a bet and make a profit out of it ABSOLUTELY guaranteed. By a result, do you mean a draw counting for Liverpool as well, or draw no bet ?
