I think some players and managers are best suited at different clubs so maybe Ryan mcgivern might find his form at vale who knows... but at least we will be giving him a chance if he signs tomorrow.. Micky is giving Ryan mcgivern a try and see what he is worth and obliviously he sees that he is decent player and also i think some people have different opinions of other players which are entitled to anyway..

He is in the mold of Rae Ingram slow and his positioning is woeful at times, primarily a left back which not sure we need with Dicko Llyod and Daniel. 100% not good enough center half

Capped 19 times by his country, off the top of my head I can only think of Sammy Morgan as the only previous Vale player capped by NI and if Ryan McGivern is anywhere near as good as Morgan he will be a terrific player for Vale.

So it seems certain that we will sign McGivern tomorrow but have there been any rumours on others,its gone a bit quiet on Darcy Blake,if he signed too I think that would be the defence sorted as Adams said he wanted 2 defenders,2 wingers and a forward,yet I have heard of no rumours on the wingers or forward.I still think we will need another centre midfielder maybe O'Connor

Agreed, we need two strikers desperately. Having Williamson as first choice at the moment is depressing. We lost Tomlin, hugill and Hughes since last year so two strikers are a must. I'm worried that he says we need two wingers but not a centre midfielder after losing loft and knott.

This is the one area that worries me most. Williamson is nowhere near good enough to be a regular in a team looking to finish in the top half of the table.
