Apparently I heard from someone on twitter saying Jimmy bell bought him down to vale for a trial and he recommended him to micky. Jimmy bell said he is league one quality not conference quality.

Why can't the club keep potential deals quiet until they're sorted out?

Why would he stay in the Conference with a failing side like Grimsby, if a League One club were offering him something? Not just the Football League, but an even higher division. If we took it further than just 'interest' then Grimsby would have no chance, IMO. He's played for Everton, Accrington Stanley and Southport, so Vale would be close for him, as opposed to that dump Cleethorpes. It depends entirely on which club(s) actually want to pursue him strongly as opposed to just declaring interest, but I'm sure he'll be looking for a move up the divisions as opposed to the one he's just been playing in.

It's simple, if vale want him the he will come to vale.

 

He held talks last Monday at vale with Micky Adams and jimmy bell.

 

I know mickys been away for a few days on the bike ride and maybe he will get back to the lad in the next day or so or if not he will go to Grimsby I'm certain.
