Close season new players rumours

This guy was having a load of banter with the Vale fans in the seats at Acrrington. Really good natured stuff. I thought he was a very decent player - he was on loan from Everton at the time I think. Has potential.

Yes it was good natured although one Vale fan was giving the player a lot of verbals for the swearing he was doing. Thought on the day he had a really good game and by far their best player. He took the abuse from the Vale fan well though, and even came over at the end of game to shake hands with a few of us.

Chris Lines, Chris Neal, Pope (permenantly), Knott, Jeno, Loft..... Your silly little wind up isn't working

Knott was on loan, most youth players at a premiership side will be decent... The point I was making was that Adams has not been successful in signing good players from a lower league, Mohammed and Tomlin are prime examples of this. The players who have done well have been signed from the same or a higher standard, Adams has no success with Vale in terms of signings from the conference or league 2!

Lets hope Colin Daniel will do good for us then and George Foster will looking out for some more players from lower leagues. if we sign aristote nsiala he would be a good signing for vale because he is strong and tall and pacey which is what we need at the back :). hopefully daniel doesn't turn out as bad as mohammed. but lets give him a try and see how things go :).

So you're saying that league two players are worse than Championship? Has anyone told the LMA? Mourning of was thinking about signing Louis Dodds instead of Fabregas.

If you don't trust Micky's judgement then fine but I know who I'd trust. Do you think Nsiala is going to be worse than Big Ex or Clayton, both who were from teams in the league above us at the time? I seriously doubt that (wasn't Ex in the Championship & therefore two leagues above that year?)

I really agree with that. Jack Grimmer, chris heard are prime examples of this. Plus them 2 Crewe lads from man city and arsenal have ran the show for them this division. Didnt David Beckham go out on loan to a league club before breaking through at utd? I dont think we should turn our back on non league potential tallent but personally I think the youth systems at premier clubs is top class and clubs like vale could benefit from those who dont always make the grade or use the loan system.

We've signed a player already too don't forget! ;)

Are you seriously saying all the players offered deals by the aforementioned teams have already signed up, really?

yes Crawly have transfer listed those that have not signed up by there deadline date and that was a week ago . most clubs have given deadlines to sign up just like we have but as usual we are a shambles as I said a SOAP OPERA it WOULD SERVE US RIGHT IF THEY ALL LEFT as the management show no interest there no one there for them to talk or discuss

Our deadline is today, today hasn't ended and I'm sure we won't hear until next week. The important thing is the club do. Good heavens, drama, drama, drama!!

How do you know they aren't still in conversation. Do Micky & Smurf have to be at the ground or something?
