Just not heard the Blackpool rummour, heard the others. Just want this saga to finish one way or the other. Then the players and fans will settle down and look forward to the pre-season in's and out's. The players would look forward to the MA's pre-season fitness regime.

Managers don't wait to see how much the budget will be they just automatically renew their contract when the owners offer one.

 

It seems to be obvious that Norman who is looking to cut expenses wants a new manager who will accept a lower remuneration than the one that Mickey Adams presently had on his lapsing contract.

 

Any new manager with less experience will not be able to do as good a job as Mickey who has proven his ability as a league 1/2 manager who also has contacts to engage the right players for next season when our better players have left for another club because of Normans negativeness and delaying tactics.

The guy told me that part of the deal is Adams wants to start with a clean slate and bring his own players in, including a few existing Vale players. I'm not sure how reliable the guy is but he certinaly knows people connected with Gillingham.
