I think the contract is already sorted - i think Adams wont be going anywhere, i also think that he has being negotiating with players out of contract for several weeks now. I think loads of us will buy the new kit and finally, i think we will sell in excess of 4000 season tickets and that we will all be dead excited when the fixtures come out end of June.

If Carlsberg did .......................... :laugh::laugh:

TBH if Adams does go I hope we go for Coleman. He has done an amazing job keeping Southport in the conference and done so playing good football and getting some good loan players in. He seems to have some good contacts.

Think we missed the bus with Coleman when he allegedly wanted the job when Gannon took over. His stock has fallen since then. Chris Powell would be my choice.

with a quick google just found this link, I know its probably a lot out of date and includes a lot of ageing players who may or may not want to move into management, however the bit that tickled me was Howard Webb linked with Manchester Utd LOL

On the serious side, there are so many out of work managers now, would micky really want to joint this pool?

  • 2 weeks later...
Micky running out of options if he leaves us,only Blackpool,Barnsley and Tranmere as I see it.

Any other clubs he might consider?

Cant see him going to Tranmere in League 2 and I think Barnsley will stick with Wilson for now,that leaves Blackpool who themselves are in a bit of turmoil on and off the pitch with the fans turning against Oyston,so would he want to get into that?

Well,if he was interviewed for the job,Micky could always say that he had plenty of experience in turmoil.:)

Micky aint going anywhere, where would he go first off and second he's got it too good here to go anywhere else - he just loves the drama, it boosts his ego - thats what i reckon anyway

Mickeys won't leave his family are very settled, a move to Blackpool would probably mean a move for his family. The Blackpool owner has a little bit of history, he may have a few bob, but Mickey talks a lot about good relationships... Seems to me the Blackers job could be one of those tricky chairman relationships... He'll stay putt!
