Six players have been nominated for the Professional Football Associations player of the year awards,they are Luis Suarez,Steven Gerrard,Daniel Sturridge,Yaya Toure,Eden Hazard and Adam Lallana.

Lallana for me but I'm sure it will go to Gerrard or Suarez.

 

He's come from nowhere really and been exceptional. Gone from a potential player for the England squad to a player Roy won't be able to leave out of the first 11, been lucky enough to see Southampton at home a couple of times this season and he was truly outstanding in both games.

Hazard is 23 so I don't really consider him as a young player as such, though he'll probably win seeing as he's been nominated. For me it would be Luke Shaw. He's an outstanding prospect and one that I would love Liverpool to go in for in the summer, Lallana too.
