Taylor has all the credentials to be a good player but fails to deliver more often than not. Such a waste of a talent.

Give the lad a break, we know he's no world beater but hes had a long injury then been asked to come in and do a job and he has, he knows himself he has his limits but hes trying his best to earn a living in the game most of us have only dreamed about.

Now he seems to have overcome his injury problems, he's a great asset.

Watching the "Martin Foyle Legend" on youtube, it was noticeable the number of goals that were laid on a plate by Steve Guppy's great crosses. While Taylor is no Steve Guppy, he's a great crosser of the ball. When Taylor plays, Pope will benefit. He has the added advantage of being able to shoot with both feet.

Taylor has a good cross and shot on him. He also looks good with his pace - something he seemed to lack last season, maybe a fitness thing?

 

That being said I don't think he is a good enough regular L1 player. I think he can do a great job coming off the bench like he did tonight. When he's on his game with his pace tiring defenders panic.

 

With regards to our budget on what wage he's probably on, he's a good squad player for us. Nothing more, nothing less.

Thankful for Micky Adams wasting a chunk of the playing budget on him over the years??? Seriously how has this guy managed to stay on our books for over half a decade.

Best cross of the season (has Myrie managed one yet? I'm still waiting) and one of the best goals too plus another assist , not a bad nights work. A lesson as to how proper wingers play, well done.
