Listened to p and g after and they had some oirish clown on who reckoned that they were extremely unlucky , in fact they didn't play that bad ! He has seen stoke play far worse many times before :0 . Tbh I thought they were awful and totally devoid if ideas . With TP in charge they always had a chance of sneaking a goal of a set piece but they offered zero today and were well beaten . HAPPY DAYS.

It looked a very strange atmosphere on the TV, flat atmosphere, flat performance.

 

Stoke enjoyed more possession than they used to in the Pulis era, but largely in areas where Norwich looked happy to let them have the ball. They hit arguably more aimless long balls than under Pulis as well, but without any of the trademark pressing high up the pitch. It's a long time since I've seen a team at the incinerator defend their 18 yard line so comfortably.

 

Not convinced by the lone striker system or the balance in midfield. Jones plugged away on his own but it was a big ask to lead the line with little support. Ireland and that Austrian nutter looked ineffective.
